The Science Behind JOA: Probiotics and Gut Health
Designed to survive the manufacturing and digestion stages, our live bacteria remain active once in your intestines to help you achieve your goals.
Why gut health is essential

Optimized Digestion
Good bacteria promote efficient food breakdown, optimize the absorption of essential nutrients, reduce bloating, and promote a flatter stomach.

Enhanced immunity
Approximately 70% of your immune system resides in your gut. A balanced microbiota helps to better protect you against infections and inflammation.
Mental balance and mood
Your gut produces essential neurotransmitters like serotonin and dopamine, which are responsible for regulating your mood, energy, and even your sleep.
Natural well-being and beauty
The microbiota plays a role in managing your weight, regulating inflammation, and can even influence the health of your skin and hair.
Optimized Digestion
Good bacteria promote efficient food breakdown, optimize the absorption of essential nutrients, reduce bloating, and promote a flatter stomach.
Glossary of Key Ingredients and Their Benefits

An ultra-resistant probiotic that promotes intestinal health, strengthens immunity and improves overall well-being.

Bifidobacterium lactis
Contributes to optimal digestion, supports the immune response and improves the overall balance of the microbiota.

Bifidobacterium breve
Helps reduce inflammation, improves fiber digestion and contributes to metabolic balance.

Lactobacillus rhamnosus
Boosts immunity, reduces digestive problems and supports mental health via the gut-brain axis.

Lactobacillus plantarum
Promotes a balanced gut flora, improves nutrient absorption and aids immune function.

Lactobacillus acidophilus
A key ally for improving lactose digestion, boosting immunity and optimizing overall health.

Vitamin C
A powerful antioxidant that stimulates collagen production, protects the skin from damage and preserves its radiance.

Copper
Essential for collagen production, it helps maintain firm skin and fights the signs of aging.

What are probiotics?
Probiotics are live microorganisms, primarily beneficial bacteria, that contribute to a balanced gut flora and healthy digestion. They help strengthen the immune system, improve nutrient absorption, and promote overall well-being. They are found naturally in some fermented foods and are also available in supplement form.
How do we guarantee the survival of bacteria?
We select ultra-resistant probiotic strains, capable of surviving 80-90% of stomach acids and remaining stable over time. Our products are overdosed to guarantee optimal effectiveness until consumption. We have also conducted post-pasteurization tests to identify the strains most resistant to heat. Finally, our protective packaging preserves their stability by shielding them from moisture, oxygen, and light.
Are our products tested?
Yes, all our products are based on scientific reports. We are currently in the testing phase to further refine our products. If you would like to participate in these tests, please contact us via the "Contact" page.
How are the probiotics dosed in JOA products?
Each drink contains approximately 100 million live bacteria (10⁸ CFU) even after pasteurization.
Our powders, which will soon be available on the website, provide approximately 10 billion live bacteria (10¹⁰ CFU) per dose for a more concentrated action.
Is it dangerous to consume too many probiotics?
Not at all, for a healthy person, there is no danger in consuming probiotics daily.
Each JOA drink contains approximately 10⁸ CFU (colony forming units) of Bacillus coagulans, an amount consistent with the doses used in scientific studies.
Research shows that up to 10¹⁰ CFU per day can be consumed, which is equivalent to several cans per day without risk.
One can a day is enough to reap the benefits, but consuming two or three during the day is still quite reasonable for a healthy adult.
